Tigger's Story...
Tigger is about the coolest cat you will ever meet! She was turned in by her owner back in November and is still waiting for her forever home. Tigger is about 7-8yrs old, is likely spayed and is current on all of her vaccinations. She does very well with children, dogs and cats and is super active and playful. It was very difficult getting pictures of this girl because she just wanted to flip and roll and be cuddled. Tigger is ALWAYS purring, even when she is getting her nails trimmed. She always uses her litter box and loves to make everything into a game or toy. If you're looking for an excellent cuddle bug that will also keep you very entertained, please come meet this wonderful kitty today!

**Resources will be provided at time of adoption for Tigger to be spayed unless a vet is able to verify it has already been done.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tigger, a Kankakee Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Kankakee, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Kankakee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kankakee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kankakee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kankakee paves the way for another one to be saved.
