Benny's Story...
'Benny' is an absolutely adorable beagle pup with a lot of spunk! Benny was left abandoned outside the shelter and he is only about 3 months old. He loves to investigate everything and is always finding new things to play with. Benny is good with other dogs, but is also a bit stubborn and would do best in an experienced home with children 8+yrs. Benny has a lot of energy and loves romping around playing and pouncing. He is still learning to walk on a leash and is working hard on his potty training. Even though he is used to his kennel, Benny gets bored easily and will howl for attention if left in their too long. Please come meet this lovely boy today and see if he is the perfect match for your home!

*Resources will be provided at time of adoption for 'Benny' to be neutered!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benny, a Kankakee Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Kankakee, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Kankakee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kankakee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kankakee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kankakee paves the way for another one to be saved.
