I am purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Duke has been adopted!
Duke is the most adorable and loving pittie pup about 9 weeks old. Duke and his sister Daisy were picked up as strays and have quickly won over our hearts. The sores on their backs appear to be either burns or abrasions and are almost completely healed! Daisy and Duke also have a bit of a cold right now, but are responding very well to antibiotics. We are now accepting applications so we can place Duke once he is all better.
Duke has a delightful temperament and just loves to cuddle with everyone. He is very gentle and submissive and will do well with another canine companion. Duke loves playing with his toys and pouncing and rolling around with his sister. His soft eyes and sweet personality show us that he has the makings of a pitbull ambassador and a great family pet. Duke is marked as special needs because he may need to remain in a splint for about 6-8 weeks while we attempt to correct the growth of his front left wrist. Duke's wrist may have developed improperly due to it breaking and not being set right or not being cared for correctly as a baby. His leg does not slow him down at all and the vet says that he will continue to have life long use of it without needing surgery. Please come meet this wonderful pup today and we know he will melt your heart too!!!
*Resources will be provided at time of adoption for Duke to be neutered!
**THIS DOG CANNOT LIVE WITHIN THE CITY OF KANKAKEE OR HOPKINS PARK!**

5 commands and proudly shows them off. He's
even gone on play dates with neighbors pup.
He is truly a sweetheart and so lovable.

what you do at the shelter and all the work that
you put into the animals for adoption. I think your all wonderful people and I feel lucky to have Duke
