Harley's Story...
'Harley'-  is a fun loving rottie/collie mix pup about 3 months old. He came in with his brother and sister and is looking for a wonderful home that can offer plenty of training and belly rubs. Harley loves to play tug and pounce on his toys. He will follow you around for attention and will quickly learn any commands and tricks you can teach him. He is doing well on his potty training and is still trying to learn how to walk on a leash. Harley would love another canine companion to play with and is submissive enough to grow up with children. He has had his first vaccinations and de-worming and will be microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet this sweet boy today and we know he will melt your heart too!

* Resources will be provided at time of adoption for 'Harley' to be neutered!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Kankakee Rottweiler/Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Collie for sale in Kankakee, or seeking a Rottweiler/Collie puppy from a breeder in Kankakee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kankakee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kankakee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Collie breeders who help with Rottweiler/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kankakee paves the way for another one to be saved.
