Lorenzo's Story...
Lorenzo is a playful CHIWEENIE (about 2 years old). He came to us from a local shelter with a severe case of mange this past summer. Lorenzo is now healthy and happy and looking for his forever home. He plays all day with his foster brother and sister doggies. He is just a super sweet and happy little pup weighing in about 10 pounds. Lorenzo is super high energy and will need a fenced yard. Because he is still very much a puppy he isn't 100% potty trained but he will use a puppy pad. He is very smart and wants to please his human so training him should be pretty easy. If you would like to meet Lorenzo please contact us and we will get you started.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lorenzo, a Palmyra Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Palmyra, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Palmyra.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palmyra already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palmyra breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palmyra paves the way for another one to be saved.
