Facts about Lorenzo

  • Breed: Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua Mix
  • Color: Brindle
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
Lorenzo is a sweet and VERY playful puppy (about 2 years old). He came to us from a local shelter with a severe case of mange this past summer. Lorenzo is now healthy and happy and looking for his forever home. He plays all day with his foster brother and sister doggies. He is just a super sweet and happy little pup weighing in under 10 pounds. Lorenzo is super high energy and will need a fenced yard. Because he is still very much a puppy he isn't 100% potty trained but he will use a puppy pad. He is very smart and wants to please his human so training him should be pretty easy. This is a WONDERFUL dog, as his foster mommy for 2 months, I can tell you that he will make a great addition to any family. We prefer no young children. If you would like to meet Lorenzo please contact us and we will get you started.

About Community Pet Care

About Our Rescue Group...

Community Pet Care is an amazing group of volunteers headed up by Danielle Giano working in New Jersey and surrounding areas. We specialize in smaller dogs with manageable medical needs, rehabilitate them, and place them in new adoptive homes.

Community Pet Care aims to save lives while utilizing a community minded approach to rescue. We want to work hand in hand with other local rescues and make it easy for those who would like to give a loving forever home to a homeless pet.

Community Pet Care and Animal Welfare Society of NJ is a grassroots non-profit organization with a small group of dedicated and experienced animal advocates. We focus on our primary “fixer-upper”, smaller dogs, we always consider any animal in need. If we cannot personally provide assistance we will do whatever we can to assist those in need using our resources and numerous animal advocate friends and rescue contacts.

3. Fill out an adoption application/Meet & Greet the pet.
