Hi, I'm Tink. I'm a chihuahua. I was taken out of the shelter just in time. I'm really sorry to say but I'm SO scared. And because I'm scared, I need someone who is savvy with chihuahuas and willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to work with me. I need socialization; I think I'll thrive 'cause I'm smart and like to be praised. I need someone with patience and a BIG HEART so I can learn to trust. I really want to be confident and blossom to be all that I can be for you. I'm good with cats and other dogs, but no young children please. I am house trained and am willing to give it my all if you believe in me. Since I'm in foster I've come a LONG way... my favorite things to do are: sit on my person's lap, go on car rides, sleep on the bed next to my person or people, monitor my peep's activities closely while they are in the kitchen, go for walks, play with my toys 'specially my little orange stuffed lion, and play tag and roll over with my doggy friends. PS... I'm a treat hoarder, and will hide some of my treats in a secret stash. They say it's pretty adorable. If you believe in me I will bond fiercely with you and make you crack up with my adorable personality (if I do say so myself). I LOVE my people and I'm hoping to find a home that will be patient with me for a couple of days so I can trust again. And the prize? Total unconditional love and affection. My foster people say I'm ideal for someone who could use some companionship. I'm small and light and easy to carry & I have low maintenance short hair. I'm estimated to be about five years old and about 7-8 lbs. of pure love! My teeth are in great shape--they sparkle, like me :)

About K9 Paw Print Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abandoned, abused, stray and neglected animals, primarily from high-kill shelters. We collaborate with other rescue groups and animal shelters to improve the lives of animals at risk for euthanisia. We work to provide solutions which seek to end the animal over-population and educate people to be responsible pet owners and "fur-ever guardians."
