Our precious Batman has been kissed by a few roses on the gray! Batman is a 4 month old hound mix sporting a handsome white coat with black markings. He currently weighs 20 lbs and will likely be around 50 lbs full grown. So here is our super pup Batman's story. It all started in a gloomy gray kennel in a high kill southern shelter. First rosey kiss...pulled into rescue and placed in an awesome foster home. We certainly hoped that this would be the beginning of wonderful things for this precious baby but he had yet another hurdle to overcome. Batman had parvo. Another rosey kiss and a fabulous doctor... he beat the gray odds once again. Now super pup Batman is all goofy smiles and wiggly tail wags, he's completely healthy and very very happy. Batman is a pretty smart little (for now) guy. He is both house and crate trained, walks great on leash, and has already learned 'sit'. His foster parents say he is a laid back lad and has not been a very destructive pup as so many can be. He loves to cuddle on the couch and watch television with his people. Batman is great with people of all sizes and ages, other dogs, cats, and.....chickens! Apparently he even takes it upon himself to check on his feathered friends every day. Batman is already neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. This special baby has indeed been kissed by a rose on the gray....several times. Our super pup has come out ahead each and every time. Now he is looking for that wonderful person or family who will make him a permanent part of their life...Batman Forever!
