Butternut's Story...
4 lbs, DOB 05-2016, Cinnamon
Butternut is a ball of energy! She is always eager to come out of her cage for playtime and will let you know by digging and tugging persistently at her exercise pen. Once out, she prefers to explore and binky all around, but will settle down every now and then for some bunny snuggles and nose boops. She is doing well with her litter box habits inside her cage and outside her cage in large spaces. She would probably love to have a dig box in her permanent home as she likes to dig and tug non destructively at pillows and sweatshirts. Butternut is getting accustomed to being picked up, but will need more gentle practice to assure her that she is safe during lift-off. She is incredibly fond of all things fruit and vegetable and can easily be persuaded with a tasty carrot!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butternut, a Woburn Cinnamon was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cinnamon for sale in Woburn, or seeking a Cinnamon from a breeder in Woburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cinnamon breeders who help with Cinnamon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
