LEO's Story...
My name is Leo … and mine is Cosmo. We are known as the twins that survived Hurricane Matthew. The police officers came and said we had to leave our home. So that nice man who took care of us gave us to this nice lady who feeds us turkey every day. She calls it a treat, but all we know is Yum! We love turkey! She told us that we had nothing to worry about and she would take care of us. We are now ready for our Forever Home. So come see us, give us a chance and we promise that you will fall in love. Knock Knock! Who’s there? Orange? Orange who? Orange cha going to come and see us? Remember … Cosmo and Leo, I’m the one smiling in the picture.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LEO, a Washington Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Washington, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
