Roo's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Roo's Story...
Roo is a typical Chihuahua mix…small in size but large in attitude! He is about two years old and weighs just 11 pounds. Roo just loves his humans. He responds immediately to every 2-legged friend he meets. When it comes to other dogs he is a bit of a ladies man but also gets along fine with submissive males. Roo is not a real fan of felines, however. He has a medium/high energy level and we think he would be okay with children although he is not that playful. Typical of his breed he just likes being loved. Rescued by our sister organization in Mexico, Roo is ready for his forever home in British Columbia. He has been fully dewormed, neutered and is up to date on all his vaccinations. If you are looking for a little love bug, contact us for an application at info.pvca@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roo, a Vancouver Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
