Pennie is gentle, quiet, affectionate pup. She loves everyone she meets and is especially good with very small children. She has been an only dog for several years but is always interested in politely meeting new dogs when she is on her walks or shopping at the Petsmart. She does enjoy interacting with smaller dogs at the dog park and will play for a short while with them. If she were to have another canine sibling she would probably do best with a calm laidback pup who didn't want to roughhouse too much. She would love to have a backyard to play and run around in. She loves to go for walks and car rides and hanging out on the sofa with her family.

She is dearly loved by her human family and has lived with them all her life, but they live in a tiny apartment with several small children and feel she is not getting the attention or exercise she needs. They are hoping to find a home where she can have some quality outdoors time, long walks and a soft place to nap. Pennie is a sweet natured girl who has proved to be a devoted and loving companion.

About Doggie Harmony

About Our Rescue Group...

Doggie Harmony is a metro-Atlanta dog rescue group focused on finding the right homes for dogs in foster care or belonging to owners who wish to re-home them. Our core objective is to place these dogs before they are turned over to animal control facilities, where they may be euthanized. Lastly, Doggie Harmony supports spay/neuter, wellness, and training to help keep or place dogs. This includes helping people find low cost resources and/or lending financial support where there's a qualified need.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Doggie Harmony is an approved non-profit (501c3) organization, so your donations are tax-deductible. If you would like donate, you may direct funds to our address below, or to our PayPal account at donate@doggieharmony.org.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Doggie Harmony does not hold regular adoption events, so watch our website for special events. We also encourage you to contact us about pets you may be interested is, as we are always willing to bring them to meet you.

We do not have a shelter, so we are only able to support animals with foster homes or donations toward short-term boarding.

Our Adoption Process...

Those interested in our adoptable pets are asked to complete an application that will allow us to assess whether a particular pet is good fit for their household and lifestyle. If it is, we will then bring the pet to their home for a meeting. If all goes well, the adoption contract is initiated and a fee is collected, but held for two weeks to ensure the adoption is a success. Our fees vary depending on each pet and what has been invested medically and behaviorally to ensure they are adoption-ready.
