Hello there! I'm KAYLA! I was just taking a little nap, so nice of you to stop by to say hello, hehe! I was rescued from an uncertain life outdoors where food and shelter was scarce. My foster saw that I was a kind soul in need of a home. To tell you a little about me, I am half play-fanatic and half enjoy-hanging-out-with-my-humans kind of kitty. I absolutely go craaaazy for feather wand toys (and laser lights)! One feather wand toy in particular has me jumping to impressive heights, flipping high in the air to try and catch it!!! My foster thinks it's amazing to see! I'll come up to greet you when you come into the room (and hope you have a treat in hand to share )! Put me in your lap and I'll enjoy gentle petting. My foster human has discovered that I enjoy watching the app "JitterBug" while on her lap (an app made just for cats with illustrated bugs moving in/out of the screen -- a cat's dreamscape!). Not surprisingly, I also love watching cat videos of squirrels and birds on TV too-- it's just too captivating for meows, LOL! My pics don't do my fur justice -- it's soft as silk! I have high-contrast exotic looking tabby markings on my chest and arms with spots on my back and belly. I'm a playful kitty who is ready to graduate into a furrever home, and I hope that might be you! I don't make it to adoption events often (we kittens have busy schedules, as you can imagine, hehe!), so if you would like to meet me, please contact my foster anytime to arrange a meeting -- I'd love to meet you! Call Karen at 330-554-6083 (I'm local, despite odd area code). In the meantime, check out my two videos online to see me in action and lookin' cute (highlight each website address and copy/paste into the website address area of a browser window):

About Planned Pethood, Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

We invite you to read About Us and what makes Planned Pethood difference from many other rescues. YOu can do so here:

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have several adoption events a week at various locations. Check out our calendar for details here: .

Our Adoption Process...

After you decide on the pet you're interested in, our adoption process begins. Please submit an application.

It will be reviewed by one of our volunteers. If certain and critical criteria is met, we will pass your application on to the foster. The foster will then contact you and make arrangements for your family to meet the dog, most likely at one of our many Adoption Events.

A home visit is also required for all of our adoptions. If you are local to the Toledo area, it will be performed by one of our volunteers. If you are long-distance, then we will need to make arrangements with a rescue group in your area. The processing of your application can take several days, so we ask for your patience.

Adoption fees depend on the specific animal.

Thank you for your interest in a rescue pet!
