Toby formerly Hooch #16872 - This absolutely gorgeous young American Bulldog/ Staffordshire Terrier was found on Hwy 10 and is already neutered. He is a big boy weighing around 65 to 70 pounds, but is all love! He loved and kissed on the little puppies at the shelter, and does not know a stranger. This sweet boy would make a great cuddle bug because he is very social, but will need exercise and some leash training. He definitely will steal your heart and needs to be with people who can spend some time with him. If you are interested in adopting or fostering, contact foster mom Kim!
Toby is an amazing loving boy. I went to the shelter yesterday and despite all the barking and loud noises, Toby stood quietly in his cage with a ball in his mouth. Toby walked patiently to the play yard and then went potty. He was eager to play and brought me a Tennis ball. He sat when asked and waited to go for the ball. Toby rode in the car without any problems and ran to the back yard to meet his foster brothers and sisters. He mastered the dog door and played with the Pac until dinner. He does not have any food or toy aggression, and like most Pits – very little shedding. Toby was very curious about our wiener dog, Luci – but when Luci let Toby know she was not interested he respected her boundaries. Toby fell in line with the Pac and went to sleep watching the news. He slept through the night and went to potty first thing in the morning. Toby is great with our little human. This boy is so happy and deserves a great family. He is fully vetted and ready for adoption.
Toby is neutered, vaccinated and heartworm negative! His adoption fee is only $75 as he was already neutered when he came in so this reduced fee covers the rest of his vetting (heartworm testing vaccinations, including rabies, fecal and HW preventative)
