Meet Asher. This big guy is approximately 1 year old and full of energy. He knows he is a big guy and likes to throw his weight around. However, an experienced, confident handler had no problem letting Asher know who was really in charge. We believe his bravado is just a front. When our handler took him away from the hustle and bustle of the adoption event, he settled right down by her side and enjoyed watching the world go by.
He can be a bit mouthy when he meets you – it is his method of trying to get his own way. Asher knows he is a handsome guy and likes to have people tell him that too. He does not get along that well with other male dogs. We recommend a home with older children, such as teenagers or an all adult home for Asher due to his strength.
