Facts about Wallie

  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
This is Wallie...he arrived as a stray and it was mentioned that he may have had a broken jaw but after taking him to the veterinarian it appears his tongue that hangs and slobbery kisses are from a previous injury.....he also appears to have had some teeth removed surgically. So...this fella obviously has a story but he is one HAPPY wiggle butt boy! He did have an old scab that was cleaned up but that is healing well! Wallie appears house trained, walks good on leash, food motivated (picky on treats), very affectionate, was scared of the office cat, and appears dog friendly but a meet and greet is recommended. Wallie is labeled a Bully breed, approximately 3 years old, and neutered. His adoption fee is $50!

Our mission statement is "To promote animal welfare through education, enforcement, housing, and adoptions." As a department, we strive to achieve compliance with state law and local ordinance.

This shelter is a county organization which operates 100% on revenues raised at the shelter. This revenue comes from many sources, including licensing fees, adoption fees, return to owner fees, and fines levied in court for ordinance violations.
