Wallie's Info...

I am already neutered and housetrained.

Wallie's Story...
This is Wallie...he arrived as a stray and it was mentioned that he may have had a broken jaw but after taking him to the veterinarian it appears his tongue that hangs and slobbery kisses are from a previous injury.....he also appears to have had some teeth removed surgically. So...this fella obviously has a story but he is one HAPPY wiggle butt boy! He did have an old scab that was cleaned up but that is healing well! Wallie appears house trained, walks good on leash, food motivated (picky on treats), very affectionate, was scared of the office cat, and appears dog friendly but a meet and greet is recommended. Wallie is labeled a Bully breed, approximately 3 years old, and neutered. His adoption fee is $50!

Located at 2396 W Genesee Street, Lapeer, Mi. Adoption hours are M-F 9:30-12, 12:30-4:30 with the exception of Wednesday the shelter closes at noon. Saturday hours are 9am-2pm. For more information please call 810-667-0236.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wallie, a Lapeer American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Lapeer, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lapeer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lapeer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lapeer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lapeer paves the way for another one to be saved.
