My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hanson! This handsome boy is looking for his new forever family. He was rescued by The Pet Rescue Center from a shelter where he came in as a stray and was at risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding. Hanson was a little nervous when we first saved him, not knowing your fate can do that to a pup. Once he got into our car and knew he was safe he was a totally different dog! Now he bounds around happy as a clam and absolutely loves nothing more than to play with toys and get good old fashioned belly rubs. Hanson is a young boy, probably right around a year, and has a good amount of energy. He loves treats and is enjoying working on his basic training, but will still need to continue once he is in a home. He gets along great with other dogs and people. Contact The Pet Rescue Center if you think Hanson would be a good match for your family!

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia. The Pet Rescue Center is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
