My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jackson
Approx. 5-6 months old
Bull terrier mix

Jackson was found by a kind-hearted woman when he followed her son
home after school. He was in rough shape, with some balding patches,
some scars, skin rash, and worms. When no owner could be found, and
she was unable to take him in, he found a safe place in my home.

Jackson is a playful young man with lots of spunk. He’s always happy
and ready to play, and a total snuggle bug. He’s great with people,
kids, and other dogs, and is always excited to make new friends. Cats
are unknown. He’s house broken and behaves well in a crate, though he
is reluctant to enter voluntarily (but it just takes a little
nudging). He’s got a little bit of a stubborn streak when it comes to
training, since he is still learning, but will sit on command, and
responds well to treats and lots of praise. He’s great on a leash, and
absolutely loves walks and play time at the dog park.

Jackson is up to date on all of his vaccines, microchipped, and has
been neutered. He is still too young to have had a heartworm test, but
has been given a preventative.

This little man would do well in a home with another dog to keep him
company and to help him expend some energy, or with a family that
loves to play.
