Sweet little miss Bibbs is an absolute pleasure. A delightful long-legged mix of spirited playful fun, refined ladylike reservation, and outright love addiction. Though this young lady might fool you at first by being prim and polite, and sometimes shy, once she knows you she’s almost always ready to pamper you with her snuggly kitty affections, impress you with her tomboy streak by wrestling heartily with a playmate, or chase a toy if you tempt her. Just the other day her clever fun-loving spirit led her to discover a new trick: picking up a toy in her mouth and walking it over to drop it in the water bowl - she finds this fascinating! When she's in the mood for love, she’ll play on your heart strings with dainty mews while rubbing and purring on your lap (or actually doing laps around you). At times, she can be pleasantly “talkative” with her tiny courteous mews. And if you provide the love she's asking you for, she can be quick to make you biscuits. Her striking dark gray (almost black) and white fur pattern is as silky soft as it is elegant eye candy. When she sits tall and proper in front of you, you’ll admire the artistically near–symmetric fur pattern on her front legs and paws. The pretty white streak down her petite nose complements the fashionable white brush stroke you’ll notice across her back thigh. Her tiny manx tail is compact and dignified; its movements aren't needed to reveal what’s going on in her heart and mind since she wears it all on her sleeve. Bibbs’ charm, grace, beauty, loving disposition and warm affectionate heart make her a prize; she'll be an overall lovely and engaging lifelong companion for the lucky human who takes this precious baby home.

About Austin Siamese Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Austin Siamese Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization, formerly the Austin Branch of Texas Siamese Rescue. We focus on the 14 breeds of the Royal Thai Family, including Siamese, Balinese, Javanese, Oriental Shorthairs and Longhairs, Birmans, Burmese, Himalayans, Ocicats, Ragdolls, Snowshoes, and Tonkinese. All of the cats fostered in Austin are cared for in private homes by individuals who dedicate their spare time to this effort.

Our cats come from a variety of backgrounds. Some faced death at the shelter, while others came from abusive and neglectful households. Still others were treasured companions of guardians who could no longer care for them. What they all have in common is a need for a forever home, where they can live their lives as the happy, pampered cats they all deserve to be. We're looking for the perfect inside home for them!

Our Adoption Process...

Interested adopters go through a careful screening process to include reference checks, telephone interviews, and where appropriate, home visits. No cat will be placed in a new home which allows cats to go outside. The adoptive owners agree to give Austin Siamese Rescue, Inc. the option of reclaiming the cat, should the adoption not work to the advantage of the new owner and the cat.

Adoption fees for Austin Siamese Rescue, Inc. range from $100 to $175 and include such vet work as combo test, vaccinations, worming and flea control, and microchip. We spay or neuter all of our cats prior to placement and most of our kittens, depending on their size and readiness.

For more detailed information and our adoption policies, see the Adoption Info section of our web page.
