Cheddar and Colby Jack are three month old brothers, who were taken into foster at one of NCFFs TNR clinics. Cheddar has one eye because when he was trapped, his rt eye had a bad infection. It was determined, after trying to treat it, that it was unsaveable. He is now a happy, active, playful boy who is no longer in constant pain! Cheddar loves to cuddle, gives head butts and has an extremely loud purr! Colby Jack is also a lover, he follows his foster mommy all around the house, and is almost always right beside her. CJ also is a Master of Fetching! He LOVES to fetch-- he will bring his toy back, set it right in front of his foster mommy, and sit looking at her until she throws it again for him! Both of these cuties sleep with their foster mommy at night, cuddled up together and up against her, purring like crazy! They have been neutered and have had all appropriate vaccinations. They love other cats, and are respectful of their elders. They have also been exposed to the foster's dog and are ok with her, maybe a little afraid. They would really like to be adopted together, as this way they can have three eyes between the two of them.. haha!! They are fostered in Wellington, north of Ft Collins.
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
