Sierra is one of the most perfect dogs that a family could ask for. She is about 3 years old, and was an owner surrender to a Shelter in North Carolina for not staying in their fenced yard. Well that’s because Sierra is meant to be an indoor dog and part of a family. Since being with a foster family, she does not jump the fence, she does not climb the fence. She is very lovable, and is house trained, crate trained, and gets along with cats. Yes, CATS! Take a look at her photo with the Christmas tree and see if you can spot the cat looking at Sierra adoringly. She gets along well with all kinds of dogs from small to big. She is also in a foster home with children. She loves to just chill on the couch and chew on her bones. She does not bark unless there is someone outside that she does not know especially when the kids are playing outback also. She came to use being heartworm positive and is currently under the slow kill treatment, which The Last Resort will continue to pay for until she tests negative. She is current on all vaccinations, and is also spayed. Serria is looking for her fur-ever home, where she can lounge, and just enjoy life. She brings such joy to her foster family. Sierra is being fostered in NC but can be transported to MD or NJ for an approved adopter.
