Zina and Kodiak (Combined fee)'s Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Zina and Kodiak (Combined fee)'s Story...
Zina is a young adult (2-4 year old) female Siberian husky and she weighs 56 lbs. Kodak is also a young adult (2-4 year old) male Siberian husky/Alaskan malamute mix that weighs 67 lbs but needs to gain a few more to fill out a bit. Zina absolutely loves belly rubs and is the more submissive one of the two, but is true to your typical husky. She knows how to sit on command and walk on a leash. Kodak is very laid back and easy going, but does love to play. He knows how to sit on command, shake, and walk on a leash. These guys are so lovable! Both are friendly and playful with other medium-large dogs. A home with no small dogs, cats, birds, livestock, etc. would be best given their very high prey drive. Other medium-large dogs should be fine if introduced properly and given time to get adjusted. Also, previous husky experience and a 6' fence or very active lifestyle would be ideal for them. They have been through a lot together in a brief time frame, so their foster mom would like to keep them together if at all possible. They are fully vetted and ready for their furever home!
They are spayed and neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They are heartworm negative and on a heart worm and flea preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zina and Kodiak (Combined fee), a Washington Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute for sale in Washington, or seeking a Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Siberian Husky/Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
