Tank's Story...
Tank
Male
Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd
DOB: 3/20/14
Weight: 90 Pounds

Tank is a real cuddle bear, with a gentle spirit. This loving, affectionate dog is patient and intelligent and will be a great family dog. He probably could loose a few pounds which makes him a great walking partner. He enjoys the company of other dogs, daily walks, exploring the park and being with staff and volunteers. His good nature and aptitude to please will make him easy to train. Because of his size, he may be a little too much for very small children. Tank is house-trained with a doggie door.

Tank is perfect for that active, sociable, affectionate family who enjoy including their dog in their daily life.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tank, a Mountain Center Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Mountain Center, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Mountain Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mountain Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mountain Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mountain Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
