Paco may have his shy moments from time to time, but has proved himself to be quite the love bug! He loves nothing more than a good belly rub and will happily curl up next to you for a nap. He loves playing with toys, especially anything with a squeaker, and will let you know he's happy by running around the house shaking his stuffed animals. He's also extremely content laying in his bed chewing bones and bully sticks. He enjoys walks in the neighborhood but his favorite thing to do is sit on your lap on a bench in the park. He's not too excitable and responds well to direction and a few commands. He would do best in a patient home that understands the quirks of a rescue dog. He is completely housebroken and is very good at doing his business out on walks!
Paco gets along with big and small dogs. He currently lives with another small dog and they get along very well. He does well socializing and exploring at the dog park. He's okay with older children 12 and up as long they are gentle. His foster parent takes him to work once a week and he is well behaved and quiet in an office environment with many people. He's also a pro at riding the subway in a carrier.
Paco is up to date on shots, neutered and mirochipped. He is 6yo and 8lb.
Paco was rescued in LA as part of our Waggy West rescue mission to bring At Risk dogs, one by one to NYC for adoption! We are always looking for volunteer chaperones to bring at risk dogs like him with them on their next LA-NYC flight, we pay the dog's ticket and provide a carrier!
