WHAT A TOTAL SWEETHEART!
This handsome little guy was likely dumped --- his microchip led to a dead end - and an owner hasn't surfaced. He was in pretty rough shape when rescued but he's been shaved down and bathed - and looks and feels SO much better.
He is the PERFECT houseguest. Houssebroken, well behaved when left alone - calm, gentle... and dog friendly.
He has seen our vet and been brought up to date on vaccines. He just came home from the hospital where he had a couple surgeries; partial tail amputation due to an old injury to his tail, a dental and to have a growth removed from his rectum (which was benign). His surgeries were successful and he is doing GREAT!
We believe him to be a HAVANESE OR CAIRN TERRIER??? (Really have NO CLUE) around 6 years old. He is neutered and full grown at 18 lbs. His coat is soft and silky ---low shedding and probably hypo-allergenic. He is dog friendly - and sweet as can be - house broken, crate trained... MIGHT be OK with cats.
Adoption fee $250
Please email for an application: firstname.lastname@example.org
NOTE: Adoption fees are applied towards the vet bill: Exam, blood tests, vaccinations, fecal, worming, spay/neuter, and microchip. There is rarely anything left over, but if that happens, the monies get applied to the next or previous pet - who may have had to have an x-ray, be groomed or have a dental.
