Cami's Story...
I’m a sweet little girl named Cami, and I am longing for someone to love me. I’m tender, affectionate, cute-as-can-be, and homeless. I’m just lacking a bit in the confidence department…which I’m sure you can help me with. I’d love another dog to play with, cats to snuggle with, and respectful children 8+ to dote on me. I just need a gentle touch, a soft bed, and a patient person to show me what a warm and loving place the world can be. A training class or two wouldn’t hurt either, cuz hey, nobody’s perfect! Well, I might be perfect if you put in some effort! 6 months old-30lbs. My adoption fee is $260 and includes microchip & registration, spay, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cami, a Portland Border Collie/Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Border Collie/Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Border Collie/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
