My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Life. It is where the meaning of my name is derived, and believe me…I still got plenty of it left! I may be a golden girl, but I still got spunk! If we are being open and honest with each other, and I’d like us to be, then I will tell you I can be a bit touchy when it comes to “grabby hands.” I don’t like surprises or being jostled around, so respectful children 12+ are more my style. I am, shall we say, a refined female. I have been around the block a time or two and understand how a lady should be treated. I am looking for that pure loving connection all canines seek. I love to go for car rides or take nice leisurely strolls. I am crate trained, get along with other dogs, and am open to the idea of living with dog-savvy cats. Now, I am not immune to the trials of age and do need to take a pill each day to keep my joints happy …yep, arthritis happens to the best of us. So how about you give me the chance to bring a little love into your life? I will thank you, but your heart will thank you even more. 13 years old-46lbs. My adoption fee is $100 and includes spay, microchip, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.
