Jimmy (in Tennessee)'s Story...
Hi! My name is Jimmy. I'm a very athletic guy and weigh 14 pounds. I have tons of energy and love to run and jump, I would be a perfect candidate for an active family. I can be shy at first but will slowly warm up to you. I really want to be loved but am not quite sure about strange humans, they can be scary. I am learning to do this walking on leash thing as I never had one on before. Foster mom says I am a quiet boy that would love to have someone love me and show me that life can be so much better. I am learning this house-training thing and am usually very good, but sometimes I forget. I will do so much better with love, understanding and consistency. I love my chew sticks but not quite sure about toys, maybe you can show me. If you are interested in learning more about me, please complete an adoption application at www.papadopters.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jimmy (in Tennessee), a Jonesborough Papillon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Papillon for sale in Jonesborough, or seeking a Papillon dog from a breeder in Jonesborough.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jonesborough already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jonesborough breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Papillon breeders who help with Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jonesborough paves the way for another one to be saved.
