Dixie's Story...
Hi! My name is Dixie. I'm a 12 week old Domestic Short Hair. I have been spayed, de-wormed, micro-chipped, and I have received my first set of vaccinations. I will still require a rabies vaccine after I am adopted.

I am a little bit shy and timid. I will just need a little love and patience to come out of my shell. Once you handle me and pet me I will start to purr and warm up to you in no time! I would prefer a quiet home with older or no children as they would know my limits a bit better. If I sound like I would be the perfect little friend for you, please don't hesitate to come and meet me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dixie, a Lloydminster Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lloydminster, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Lloydminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lloydminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lloydminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lloydminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
