Cowboy's Story...
BEFORE AND AFTER! Looking for his forever home!
You may remember the pictures (on top) from a stray dog who came in from a severe abuse/neglect situation. The pictures below are of Cowboy today!
Despite whatever he went through in the past, he is looking forward to a bright future! You can tell her just adores people. He cannot get enough attention and will fall asleep on your lap while you rub his sweet head. Cowboy tested well with other dogs but prefers a no cat household.
This boy has never experience a good life so we want to make sure he finds the best forever home possible!
If you would like to show Cowboy the good life, come on in and meet him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cowboy, a Steger Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Steger, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Steger.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Steger already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Steger breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Steger paves the way for another one to be saved.
