Meet Marmalade! Bless her...she has had a busy time in her short lifetime. She was rescued with one litter of kittens only to be found pregnant again! She was a young mother with eight playful little ones; all but one who have been adopted.
It is definitely Marm's turn to be spoiled and loved. She is a loving "princess." She still loves to play and snuggle. She finds adults her favorite companion, so she will do best in a house without young children or other cats. Small dogs are okay. Are you getting the gist about treating her like a princess? ;)
Her foster has this to say about Marmalade's future forever home: "The house must contain at least one window sill facing an interesting direction like onto a grassy area or a street. The roles and responsibilities of her chosen adult include: 1) Scratching Marm where she wants and when she wants. 2) Must be available at regular and predictable intervals to provide exactly five minutes of intense play and scratching. (She has a window to get back to monitoring after all.) 3) Must perform all other duties as assigned (by Marm)."
All of this is to say (tongue in cheek), we want Marmalade to find the perfect home she deserves. If you are interested in giving Marmalade a forever home, please fill out an application at takemehomepetrescue.com.
Marmalade's approximate birthday is 6/28/2014.
