MEET HUNTER!! **Please Note: This is a courtesy post for another rescue; different adoption fees/policy apply.

Hunter is a 13 yr young dauchaund-jack Russell~ He is still SUPER  playful with plenty of spunk, even though he is a senior.  He'd be a great companion for a retired, active couple. He l oves playing with plush squeaky toys and enjoy s playing in small wading pools.

Hunter enjoys walks and does great on a leash.  He'd love a home where he gets a morning walk with his people to check out all the sights and smells of the neighborhood!
He's a big cuddler and ADORES people.  He does well with kids, but they should be older, and know how to respect a dog's boundaries.
He has a lot of love to give, but should be the only pet in the home~

About Underdog Rescue of Arizona

About Our Rescue Group...

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.

We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.

Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.
