My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Carion. At first glance you might think she is a little mini Dalmatian, but that just her awesome coloring. She also has a pretty cute underbite that just completes this adorable little girl. Carion was saved from a high kill shelter where she came in as part of a hoarding case. Knowing we couldn't leave her behind, The Pet Rescue Center saved her and her 6 friends from an uncertain fate. Since coming to The Pet Rescue Center she has shown us what a lover she is. A little nervous at first, now she just wants to be held or sit in your lap. Coming from a home with so many other dogs she is definitely a dog friendly dog and would do great having a new doggy sister or brother. She is learning that the world is not such a scary place and now just needs someone to give her a forever home. Could it be you?

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to save the lives of dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia. The Pet Rescue Center is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
