Hi Everybody!!!

I just blew in from South Beach.  I'm about 8 years old and 5 pounds of fluffy curls.  Perfect size to take everywhere.

I loved my ride to freedom watching all the Florida colors go flying by, so Foster Mom called me 'Brody Skyway' because of how pretty I looked with the Skyway Bridge in the background.  I am very happy being held and helping you get comfortable next to me in the big chair.  I'm such a good boy in the house and on a leash too.

I love soft doggie beds and trotting around the yard.  Now Foster Mom calls me 'Popcorn' because that's how I walk!  Pop, pop pop!  I made everybody laugh at the dog park yesterday.

I'm currently being fostered in Largo, FL, so grab an app, and you may be lucky enough to get me!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brody Skyway*Adopted, a Gainesville Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Gainesville, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Gainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
