Buddy's Story...
This sweet boy was thrown out of a truck at 5 weeks old with 8 of his brothers and sisters. The man that saw it gathered them up and took them back to his barn where he and his family ran a horse camp for girls. The girls of course went nuts over the puppies and 4 of them went home with campers at the end of the week. They called us to take the last 5. Buddy is sweet as can be and is happy and playful all the time! And what a kissie face! He has a great temperament and so handsome and shiny! We DNA tested one of the pups and mom is a lab/cocker mix and dad is a boxer mix. Buddy turned out looking more like dad.  He is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on all his shots. All he needs now is a loving family. He has not been around cats but at this age, he will be easy to train. Honestly this is the best, most outgoing friendly puppy!  If you would like to add this deserving boy to your family, please contact lorainecm@comcast.net or omlc7@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Columbus Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
