Winnie's Story...
Hello everyone! My name is Winnie and I am such a sweet girl! I came back to the shelter after my family who I loved so much fell onto hard times. I originally came to the shelter back in 2008 and was with my family since then. I am really wanting to go to my new FURever home soon, I have been in a home environment and now I am adjusting to shelter life. Please consider me when looking to expand your family!!

I am very hyper and love to run and jump. I love being outside where I can play and chase my toys. I am very affectionate and an attention getter. Most importantly tho, I am leash trained, crate trained, and easily pleased.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winnie, a Batesville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Batesville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Batesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Batesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Batesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Batesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
