8 FREE DOG TRAINING CLASSES WHEN YOU ADOPT ME
DONATION $ 75
I'm a handsome brute, very sweet and playful with my toys. I'm 6, weigh around 60 pounds, and am very healthy. I'm somewhat of a couch potato though, a slight lazy streak in me!
I don't like loud noises like firecrackers and lightening. Lots of dogs are like that so I'll need reassurance I'm not going to be hurt by the sounds. I also hate getting my nails clipped!
I enjoy being outside and rolling in the grass and sunbathing. Just look at my photos - aren't I handsome???? So because of that I need a fenced yard please.
I'll need to be with older children. No cats or dogs. I'm getting training classes and living with ARK's dog trainer. I'm learning good things. I haven't had any training before and have been a very very lonely dog. Come meet me!
My former family didn't think much of me and I picked up on that. Made me very sad and caused me to have anxiety. Animals like people know when they're not adored. But I'll adore you - just wait and see. My breeds are especially loving and are bred to need people. I NEED YOU!!!
Emotional Support Animals (ESA)
Emotional Support Animals are not required to undergo specialized training. They can be dogs, cats, exotics, birds. Their primary role is to provide their owners with emotional comfort. Emotional support animals can benefit a disabled individual psychologically. The basic gift of companionship and unconditional affection can be the therapy needed to counter a condition like debilitating depression or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
ESAs are protected under the Fair Housing Amendments Act (FHAA) and the Air Carrier Access Act (ACAA). People meeting the proper criteria are entitled to an ESA to assist them with life. The FHAA protects individuals by allowing ESAs to live with them regardless of breed (even with no pet policies). The ACAA protects individuals by allowing ESAs to fly with them in the cabin of an airplane without having to pay additional fees. ESAs are not required to be professionally trained. An owner can train the pet. However a letter of need written by a mental health counselor will be required.
BARK, BARK COME AND GET ME PLEASE!
