Abby's Story...
Meet Abby, a sweet girl looking for a responsible, loving and permanent family. Abby is very playful, smart and loving. She does not care for other animals and will have to be the only pet in your home. She won't be a dog park type of dog but she would probably do fine out on hiking trails. Abby would do best in an adult only home or a home with older teenagers. She is a bit rough around the edges and will need to be signed up for positive reward based classes which will help her with manners and socialization. She is a bit fearful of men so a home with only women would be preferred. She is a very active girl and will need plenty of physical and mental stimulation to keep her happy and healthy. If you would like to meet Abby, please fill out an application at customer service.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a Bellingham Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
