Eisenhower's Story...
This little fluff ball is approx 8 weeks old and 7.5 lbs as of 10/16.. He will be available for adoption mid November after his third set of puppy shots and neutering. He looks like a golden or lab mix with who knows what. He is just precious... a quiet little dog but loves to run out to the yard with his puppy buddies to play. He will need some more house and leash/harness training as he is just a youngster. He is going to be a beautiful dog!
The total adoption donation of $475 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. We also provide a coupon for a free wellness visit to the South Wilton Vet group if convenient for you. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eisenhower, a Norwalk Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
