Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Dox's Info...

I am in need of an experienced adopter, rideable, and up to date with shots.

Dox's Story...
Dox is a nine year old registered Quarter Horse mare who stands about 15
hh. She is a very sweet, friendly girl who gets along well with other
horses, stands for the farrier, trailers easily and works well on a lunge
line. She takes a saddle but does not seem to be broke to ride, so she
would do best with a confident owner with experience training horses, or an
experienced beginner willing to hire a trainer. With the proper work and
training, she could make someone a beautiful riding horse. She would love a
home with another horse to be friends with! She currently gets turned out
with a mix of mares and geldings and seems to get along well with everyone.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dox, a Bellingham Quarterhorse was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Quarterhorse for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Quarterhorse from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Quarterhorse breeders who help with Quarterhorse rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
