I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.
My name is Mimi! I’m a happy, healthy and loving tabby girl currently living in the arts district of Jersey City with my foster human. She comments all the time on the beauty of my coat and my friendly personality. I am playful and love to sit on her lap to get head scratches and lots of pets. While I will withstand being picked up, I prefer not to be held in your arms for long. I will talk with you--but my meow is not loud. I'll also swish around your legs to greet you. While I crave attention I will settle down near you to take a nap, purring while I fall asleep. You will never guess that I’m eight when you see me run for my toys or roll around the floor with my catnip carrot! I also love to perch on shelves, but I’m known to curl up inside a cat bed if that’s available. If you want a special companion who is loyal, good natured and totally adorable-- think about giving me a forever home. You won’t be sorry: everyone who meets me tells me I’m a sweetheart!
PAD PAWS rescue is a non-profit organization specializing in abandoned and injured animals who have taken refuge along the Hudson River (between Battery Park/NYC and Jersey City, NJ). The majority of our rescues include Trap/Neuter/Release along with rehoming if the animals are in dangerous situations (due to construction sites, urban development and busy city streets). PAD PAWS handles all medical costs, adoption, education, rehabilitation, as well as assisting with other local organizations and the community in rescuing/saving animals and wildlife.
