Ruth's Story...
This pretty little girl is Ruth, a 2 month old torbie pattered kitten ready for her purrfect new family to come and get her! She and her siblings came to the shelter after their previous owner had an accidental litter. She is a fun and spunky little girl, and will be sure to delight her family! Ruth loves pouncing after her toys, and chasing around after her siblings. Since she is just a baby, she should be fine with other cats, dogs and kids in her new home. She is current on her vaccinations, Felv tested negative, microchipped, and will stay to be spayed once adopted. Come and meet her today at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook. We are open daily from 12-6pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruth, a Benbrook Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
