Hello, I'm Nonna, my name means grandmother in Italian. I was named this because although I'm young I have a sweet and gentle personality. My foster home consists of my foster mom and cat friend Dante. Me and Dante are buddies and I don't bother him or chase him around. I have a ton of dog friends too. My foster mom manages a dog bakery,(dream foster mom,right?!) and all the employees bring their dogs to work. I also go to dog daycare and lots of canine friendly adventures with my foster mom. I ride like a perfect lady in the car and I'm also great on a leash. I do well in my crate but will never say no to snuggling up on the couch for a movie. I'm the perfect combination of young and fun but relaxed and cuddly. I love my life and I'm excited to meet my new lucky family.
All of our pets start their journey in Memphis Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted.
In order to qualify for ALIVE’s program all of the following steps must be met: • You must be at least 24 years of age and be able to provide ALIVE with proof of age. • Any current pets must be up to date on vaccinations, and be spayed/neutered. Exceptions to this will only be considered if proof of a medical explanation is provided. • If you currently rent, you must provide a landlord’s phone number and a copy of your executed lease. • All members of the family living in the home where the animal will be placed must be interviewed. • Allow an ALIVE Rescue Memphis representative into your home for a visit to insure that your home is safe for the potential new dog or cat. • Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and proper care for a pet. • Currently, the requested donation to adopt a dog over 4 months of age is $250.00, a dog under 4 months of age is $275.00 and a cat is $150.00. • For dogs being adopted from our Chicago chapter additional transport fee's apply

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you submit an application immediately to start the adoption process. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, ALIVE Rescue Memphis is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.
