Benny was cared for last winter by a kind neighbor. He and his friends were living outside but have now enjoy being house cats.  Benny is shy but warms up to people because they feed him. He likes other cats and does need to live with another cat, perhaps with his sister Joon. Benny is about 2 years old. He tested positive for FIV, an immunodeficiency virus. But he is very healthy, and that just means he needs to stay safe and sound indoors. He can still live with other cats that are negative. If you have patience and love to give a sweet shy guy who deserves a chance, please call Molly at 651-295-3758 or email outreach@felinerescue.org.

NOTE: In the interest of serving as many cats as possible, Feline Rescue occasionally promotes cats being taken care of by our friends and supporters. The cat(s) in this posting are NOT Feline Rescue cats and any adoption that may occur is an arrangement strictly between two independent parties.

About Feline Rescue, Inc.

Our Adoption Process...

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. If a sponsorship fits your schedule better, you may support a cat of your choice and we will send you pictures and updates. All of our cats are feline leukemia/FIV tested, fecal tested, neutered/spayed, vaccinated and all of our kittens are vet checked, fecal checked and given their first set of shots. All receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary because we are staffed entirely by volunteers. Call (651) 642-5900 for specific times and more information.
