Important Note

Charlie Brown (#1) is best friends with Snoopy. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
Meow! Hi, my name is Charlie Brown (#1), and I am a handsome and sweet boy. My twin brother, Snoopy, and I were born in July of 2016. We are short-haired Bombay cats, which is a breed admired for our panther-like black coats and golden eyes. We also like to think we bring good luck to those around us. I'm going to be a year old soon, so I am hoping to find my forever home -- hopefully with children who will play with me! I'm an affectionate kitty who purr, purr, purrs like a motor. I like to be close to my human and my brother Snoopy, even though I tend to be a little more independent than him. Ideally, I would like to sleep in bed with my foster mom. However, our foster parents have 3 large 70-pound dogs who already sleep in bed with them, so the couch works for Snoopy and me for now. We enjoy sharing a home with the dogs and an adult cat. We all get along just fine. We are indoor cats, but we are very curious about the backyard and I love to sit and look out the window perched up high on the cat tree. My foster mom says that I am a good eater, and I really enjoy my wet canned food. My favorite pastime is chasing slithering toys on the ground when our foster parents' nephew visits and plays with us for hours at a time. I am very good at using my scratch post tower, too. I'm really chatty when it's dinner time, and especially when my brother and I are in separate parts of the home. We use our superpower meows to find one another in the big house! My ultimate wish is for my brother and I to be adopted together since we are best friends. If I sound like a kitty that you would like to meet, please complete an on-line application and one of our kind volunteers will contact you.

About Animal Allies of Texas

About Our Rescue Group...

Animal Allies of Texas is a 501(c)(3) animal advocacy/rescue organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community. Our goal is to build a no-kill shelter on enough land to house not only "adoptable" animals, but "treatable" ones as well - those who need medical care or behavior modification to become adoptable. While working toward this goal, we will also engage in community service and humane education projects to help bring about "humanity championed by thought."

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events at one or more locations every week end. Please check the calendar on our web site www.animalalliesoftexas.org for specific locations and times.

An adoption agreement detailing these and other requirements must be signed to finalize adoption.
