If you are interested in adopting this beautiful cocker, please go to our website for more info:

Kirby is a well-behaved, affectionate, and happy little man! He does require small kibble because he is missing most of his teeth - for this reason his tongue also hangs out of his mouth and it is quite endearing. He is a small dog, weighing in at just 23lbs. He recently completed heartworm treatment and will be neutured soon. Kirby adjusted very quickly to his foster home where there is another senior male cocker spaniel and he likes to play and interacts well with him. Kirby likes to play with people and with other animals and is sweet and loving. Kirby has not been around many children to assess how much he likes them - but has not had problems on the few occasions that he has. Kirby has only a few teeth - he does not require soft food but does need small kibble to eat.

Our dogs are temporarily housed in pre-screened, loving foster homes while waiting their new forever home. They are also micro-chipped, groomed (if needed), and given a thorough professional veterinary exam to identify any health issues or potential issues. Once an applicant is approved, we match them with a dog that meets their preferences, based on personalities and life style for a made-to-last relationship and close bond with their new friend.
