Sable's Story...
Sable is a beautiful little tabby-tortie girl with just a bit of orange on her short white, brown and gray coat. About five months old, she was brought to us from an animal shelter that does not serve cats, and was suffering from an upper respiratory infection that was easily mended. Since early August she has been loving life in a foster home with big windows and lots of other cats. She is active, engaged, likes people, loves toys and is very much interested in the world. She also enjoys quiet time and a good lap. Sable is spayed, current on her shots, healthy, and negative for FIV/FELV. She is looking forward to an INSIDE ONLY home where she can continue exploring her world. Sable has had no experience with dogs or very small children so they should be introduced carefully and with supervision until everyone is comfortable. You can meet this pretty young lady at Twin Falls PetSmart now. She’s a delightful keeper!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sable, a Buhl Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Buhl, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Buhl.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buhl already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buhl breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buhl paves the way for another one to be saved.
