Meet Otto!!!He is a 2 ½ year old male, Mastiff/Anatolian Shepherd, weighs approximately 145 lbs, is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his shots.  He loves his family unconditionally and is very protective of his home and his people.  Otto needs a less-busy household, preferable one without visitors and an experienced guard dog owner.  Otto gets along with some dogs, but he truly would be best as the only pet in your home.  Your one and only Big Best Friend!!  Does well in the crate for 1-2 hours at a time.  Has been trained on the e-collar.  A truly awesome dog that just needs the right environment for success!  If you are someone that loves to entertain and have people over often, then he is not the dog for you. If you are someone that tends to go out to socialize and at home you just love to snuggle your dog, then this might work! He is big and he is awesome! About Critter Cavalry Rescue New England - CT

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a dedicated group of rescue volunteers who desire to find loving homes for animals who have been placed in shelters and are in grave danger of euthanasia. Our heart's desire is to provide you with a loving companion for many years to come.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a full volunteer rescue organization. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes, receiving the best care possible. A completed application must be submitted and approved to meet with our dogs/pups. A completed application helps us determine compatibility and also helps us to ensure a successful adoption.

Our Adoption Process...

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.
