Scraper was named so because she looks like she scraped against the sun and that is why she has so many beautiful gold markings on her, especially her one gold foot! Scraper was living as a stray when a family decided to look after her. It took a while for her to come around but she now enjoys people and is very social. Unfortunately, the other cats in Scraper’s rescue home don’t like her. Even though Scraper doesn’t mind the cats, they hiss and charger after her when they come in close contact. The family also has a dog which Scraper isn’t crazy about. With the dogs and cats in the house, Scraper doesn’t like to come inside anymore and her rescuers want to find a loving home for her where she’ll feel comfortable inside and a warm place to call home this winter.
Scraper is very affectionate, but prefers to sit next to you rather than on your lap. She enjoys head scratching and tummy rubs. Scraper loves sunny patches. Her typical pattern is to sleep in the morning and then goes outside in the late afternoon. She would likely do best in a home with older children since she is still timid at times. We’re uncertain of Scraper’s date of birth but suspect that she was born in 2014.
