Fruitcake's Story...
When’s snacktime? Because if you’re ready for something sweet, you’re ready for me. I’m Fruitcake, and I’m a kitten who likes to eat. Do you like snacks? While Fruitcake may not be your favorite snack, I’m sure I’ll be your favorite kitten. See, I love to cuddle up after eating a nice meal or snack, and I love napping. How about you? Sure, I’m a kitten, so I have lots of kitten energy, but if I have a choice between exercise and food, I’m picking the kitty nom-noms. When not eating or sleeping, you’ll often hear me purring – that’s my feline tummy expressing its joy of being full of yummy food. I’m obviously going to grow up to be big and strong. I just want to grow up with a forever family. Might that be you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fruitcake, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
